Sherine was born in Sri Lanka and moved to Sweden in 1988. She works as a senior quality manager in an international company and stepped into the world of writing with a drive to contribute with representation and female perspective to young readers.
After completing a writing course in 2021 and after a year and a half of writing, an exciting young adult book was born. Sättet du älskar is released in Sweden 2023. The book aims to contribute with stronger representation for women with a foreign background.

Who would have thought that a personal challenge in 2020 would be the beginning of her growing passion for literature. As part of her journey, Sherine has founded Brave Write AB 2023 and sits on the board of the literature association called Förord.
